Monofilament Polypropylene Surgical Mesh (MELENE® Mesh) is a sterile, non-absorbable surgical mesh manufactured from high-quality polypropylene filaments. Designed to provide long-term tissue reinforcement, the mesh offers excellent strength, flexibility and biocompatibility for a wide range of surgical applications, including hernia repair and soft tissue reinforcement.

Constructed using a specialized knitting process, the mesh features interlinked polypropylene filaments that provide bi-directional elasticity, allowing it to adapt naturally to body movements and physiological stresses. This flexible structure enables the mesh to be trimmed and shaped according to surgical requirements without fraying or unraveling.

The macro-porous design promotes effective tissue ingrowth, vascularization, and tissue integration while maintaining high visibility during surgical placement.
