A fast-absorbing surgical Catgut Suture made from collagenous material derived from the submucosal layers of healthy sheep intestines. Sterile and biocompatible, it elicits minimal tissue reaction and is intended for dermal (skin) suturing and external knot tying procedures.

Product Description
Catgut Suture are designed for rapid absorption and excellent handling in surgical procedures. These absorbable, braided sutures retain tensile strength for 7–14 days and are fully absorbed enzymatically within approximately 65 days. Available in multiple USP sizes (4/0 – 2), these sutures provide excellent knot security, minimal tissue reaction and superior tensile strength.
The sutures are sterilized using EO (Ethylene Oxide) and are supplied in aluminum foil packages with or without needles. Needle options include round-bodied, cutting edge, taper point, straight, or blunt point, suitable for a wide range of clinical requirements.
