Product Description
The Silicone Elastomer Coated Endotracheal Tube is engineered for atraumatic airway management in both short- and long-term intubation procedures. Manufactured from non-toxic medical-grade PVC and uniformly coated with a silicone elastomer layer, the tube offers a non-stick, self-lubricating surface that significantly reduces friction during intubation and extubation.
The silicone elastomer coating forms a bonded thin film over the tube and balloon, minimizing tissue irritation and preventing adherence to the tracheal wall. Its enhanced biocompatibility makes it safer and more comfortable for patients, particularly during prolonged ventilation.
Available in both cuffed and plain variants, the cuffed version features a low-pressure, high-volume cuff that ensures an effective tracheal seal while reducing mucosal damage. The tube is kink-resistant, thermo-sensitive (softens at body temperature), and fitted with a universal 15 mm connector for compatibility with standard anesthesia and ventilator circuits.
ETO sterilized and pyrogen-free, MED034 is intended for single-patient use in operating rooms, ICUs, and emergency settings.
