The MED036 Preformed Endotracheal Tube is specially designed for surgical procedures requiring unobstructed access to the operative field, particularly maxillofacial, oral, and nasal surgeries. The anatomically preformed curvature ensures that the tube naturally follows patient anatomy, reducing the risk of kinking while keeping the anesthesia circuit away from the surgical site.
Manufactured from non-toxic, non-irritant medical-grade PVC, the tube maintains flexibility while providing sufficient rigidity for safe placement. The tube can be temporarily straightened to facilitate intubation and returns to its preformed shape thereafter.
A smooth, polished Murphy eye, distal tip, and tapered balloon design allow atraumatic intubation and extubation. Clear graduation markings and a continuous tip-to-tip radiopaque line ensure accurate depth positioning and radiological confirmation.
The cuffed version is equipped with a high-volume, low-pressure cuff that provides an effective tracheal seal while minimizing mucosal trauma. MED036 is fitted with a universal 15 mm connector and is ETO sterilized, pyrogen-free, and intended for single-patient use.
