The MED030 Endotracheal Tube with Subglottic Suction Line is specially designed to maintain a secure and patent airway in patients requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation. Manufactured from special non-toxic medical-grade PVC, the tube incorporates a dedicated subglottic suction port that allows effective removal of pooled secretions above the cuff, significantly reducing the risk of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP).
The tube is equipped with a Trachseal cuff and balloon system that ensures proper mucus pool formation for efficient suctioning while maintaining an effective tracheal seal. Its extra-smooth, non-adherent inner and outer surfaces facilitate easy intubation, extubation, and suctioning. The thermo-sensitive, thin-walled, kink-resistant tube softens at body temperature for enhanced patient comfort. A smooth, polished Murphy eye and atraumatic distal tip further enhance safety during airway management. Radiopaque lines and depth markings aid accurate tube placement, while a universal 15 mm connector ensures compatibility with standard ventilator circuits. The product is ETO sterilized, pyrogen-free, and intended for single-patient use.
