The MED031 Endotracheal Tube with Ultra Thin Cuff is engineered to provide superior airway sealing while minimizing trauma and complications associated with conventional PVC cuffs. It features a Trach Seal Ultra cuff made from ultra-thin polyurethane, which eliminates fold formation commonly seen in standard cuffs and helps prevent infectious secretions from leaking into the lungs.
The ultra-thin cuff design offers a distinct advantage in pediatric and neonatal anatomy, significantly reducing the incidence of re-intubation while ensuring an effective tracheal seal. Manufactured from non-toxic, non-irritant medical-grade clear PVC, the tube is thin-walled, kink-resistant, and thermo-sensitive, softening at body temperature for enhanced patient comfort.
Smooth inner and outer surfaces allow easy intubation, extubation, and suctioning. A polished Murphy eye, atraumatic distal and tapered tip reduce tissue injury during airway management. Radiopaque lines and depth markings assist accurate tube positioning, while the universal 15 mm connector ensures compatibility with standard anesthesia and ventilator circuits. The tube is ETO sterilized, pyrogen-free, and intended for single-patient use.
