Bain Circuits are co-axial modifications of the basic T-piece breathing system, designed to improve anesthesia delivery while facilitating effective scavenging of waste anesthetic gases. These medical disposables are widely used in operation theatres, ICUs, and hospitals for both controlled and spontaneous ventilation procedures.
The compact and lightweight design helps minimize breathing resistance and reduces drag on airway devices, ensuring improved patient comfort and efficient respiratory support. The coaxial system allows smooth delivery of oxygen and anesthetic gases while maintaining simplified breathing circuit management.
Manufactured from high-quality medical-grade plastic, Bain Circuits are flexible, kink-resistant, and designed for reliable airflow performance. The circuits are sterile, disposable and individually packed to ensure maximum hygiene and clinical safety.
The adult version is based on the Mapleson D system and includes a 22 mm corrugated tube with an expiratory valve and a 2-liter antistatic reservoir bag. The pediatric version is based on the Mapleson F system and features 15 mm & 10 mm corrugated tubing with a 0.5-liter antistatic breathing bag and bag bleed valve.
